Christ-centred Yoga

Move, breathe and be still in a space centred on Jesus.

Gentle, invitational yoga bringing together movement, breath, stillness, Scripture and prayer. The Christian centre of the practice is explicit, while the invitation is open to everyone.

Everyone is welcome

Explicitly Christ-centred. Genuinely open to everyone.

You do not need to be Christian or have any previous experience of yoga to participate. LifeBack's yoga is explicitly Christ-centred, so Scripture, prayer and Christian reflection may be woven into a session. These elements are offered gently and invitationally. You are welcome to participate at the level that feels right for you.

What makes it Christ-centred?

The physical practice uses yoga movement, breathing, balance, stretching and stillness. The spiritual centre is intentionally Christian.

A session may include Scripture, prayer, reflection, gratitude or periods of quiet intended to create space to become more aware of God.

Nothing needs to be forced. Participants are encouraged to move within their own physical limits and to engage with the reflective elements in the way that is appropriate for them.
